WINTER basketBALL
Players chosen for the Winter Travel Season will represent the Royals in the Northern Virginia Youth Basketball Alliance (NVYBA). The Royals are proud to be the only program exclusively representing the Eastern side of Prince William County in NVYBA competition.
Players must commit to at least two team practices per week and ongoing skill development on their own time to compliment team workouts.
Type of Players we Need:
Commitment: Consistently attend practices, games, and training sessions
Work Ethic: Willingness to put in effort both during practice and outside of team sessions
Coachability: Openness to feedback and dedication to improving every aspect of their game
Team-First Mindset: Respect for coaches, teammates, referees, and the game itself
Discipline & Character: Strong sportsmanship; misconduct or bullying will not be tolerated
Passion for Growth: Desire to compete at a high level and prepare for future opportunities
Overview
- Season: will run approximately 10 games plus playoffs in the NVYBA. Games will be rotated during the weekends in Prince William County and surrounding jurisdictions.
- Practices: Mandatory two (2) times a week
- Tryouts: Begin in Late September
- Age Groups: Middle School Age Groups, Boys and Girls
- Dates: Practices begin in early October. First Games will be in Mid-December
Players will receive an Official EPWBA Royals jersey set, a team warm-up shirt, ball bags and access to discounted or FREE out of practice developmental opportunities.
